ok I think it’s time for me to explain something..

believe it or not, I do appreciate the people who are honestly complimenting me! it’s extremely nice to go out of your way to just say that, but I’ve been through too much to fall for some of it. I know it’s really cliché and all, but more times than not, I have been told I’m beautiful and pretty and smart, and it was all just a lie or a joke. I have seen people laugh at me behind my back, whisper about me, call me names, and I’ve just had enough. this shit happens daily and I’m done being played as a fool and believing it.

so thank you very much for this! it actually made me a bit more happy! but try to understand why I push away so many people, without even thinking twice
